Semiskilled Laborer

The City of Lock Haven is accepting applications until Feb 11 at 5PM for the following:

2 Semiskilled Laborers:  The handiest of employees who bring to the table a variety of skills to keep the city’s operations in water, streets, and public property running smoothly.  Starting wage $19.55 per hour during the probationary period and then bumping up to $20.05 per hour.

Each position starts with 10 paid holidays, 5 paid vacation days, 4 personal days, and earn 1 sick day a month that can be banked to 150 days.  Benefits package other employers with they could offer including a no deductible health insurance (Blue Cross / Blue Shield) and dental (United Concordia) insurance.  The city also provides a defined benefit pension plan, and after 10 years of employment, you will be able to collect a pension when you retire.
