The City of Lock Haven is accepting applications until Jul 29 at 5PM for the following:

Operator 1:  A CDL Class A heavy equipment operator with skillsets in backhoe and other excavation equipment with preference for H & N endorsements and a degree or cert in Heavy Equipment Operations.  Starting wage $20.20 per hour during the probationary period and then bumping up to $20.70 per hour

This position starts with 10 paid holidays, 5 paid vacation days, 4 personal days, and earn 1 sick day a month that can be banked to 150 days.  Benefits package other employers with they could offer including a no deductible health insurance (Blue Cross / Blue Shield) and dental (United Concordia) insurance. The city also provides a defined benefit pension plan, and after 10 years of employment, you will be able to collect a pension when you retire.
