Lock Haven City Police Department is now hiring. Lock Haven City Police has 14 sworn officers, 2 civilian personnel, and 2 part-time parking enforcement officers.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be a U.S. or naturalized citizen; graduated from high school or equivelant; physically, medically, and psychologically fit for performance of police duties; good moral character; licensed motor vehicle operator, minimum age of 21. Applicant must have successfully completed a basic police training course given at a Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission certified school by time of hire.
A written Civil Service examination and physical performance testing will be administered in Lock Haven. Written examination and physical test will be administered on October 12, 2019.
