The airport is open for FBO operations (including fuel service) the following hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00
Saturday & Sunday 10:00-4:00
After hours service may be arranged by contacting the airport manager – a $20.00 call-out fee may be assessed. FBO services are closed on major holidays and extreme weather events.

The City of Lock Haven operates the William T. Piper Memorial Airport, a General Aviation facility located at the eastern end of the City. The Airport has a paved runway measuring 3,800′ x 75′ , a runway lighting system and paved taxiways and tie down areas. It also has a turf runway measuring 2,200′ x 100′. The facility includes 27 T-Hangar spaces which are leased for airplane storage.
Our terminal offers an expanded flight planning room with wireless internet access and a conference room. We have also added a ramp accessible waiting room with restroom that is open 24/7 at the west end of Hangar 1. An automated weather advisory and runway lighting is activated by 3 microphone clicks on the Unicom frequency 122.80. Pilot supplies, including navigation charts and maps, are for sale in the main lobby.
A shuttle car is available for visitors who need transportation to local restaurants, lodging, LHU, or local attractions such as the Piper Aviation Museum, downtown, etc. In addition, rental cars are available locally through Enterprise Rent-A-Car (www.enterprise.com) or by contacting them by phone at (570) 748-3669.
The City also offers office space for rent and maintains a hangar of approximately 8,000 square feet which is available for airplane storage or light commercial airport-related uses.
