The City of Lock Haven is now looking for qualified candidates for the following positions:

Instrumentation Technician

Full time foreman position maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and instrumentation equipment of the city’s multimillion dollar wastewater treatment facility with a support crew of experienced coworkers.  Starting pay is up to $28.34 depending on experience plus incredible health benefits and paid time off including paid holidays and sick leave.

Instrumentation Technician

CDL Operator III

Tired of driving long distances and being away from home for days on end?  Come work for Lock Haven in one of two openings for a CDL Operator III.  Starting pay is $22.52 per hour plus incredible health benefits and paid time off including paid holidays and sick leave.  After the probationary period, the hourly rate increases to $23.02.

Full time in the Streets & Stormwater Division of Public Works maintaining the city’s streets, traffic signals, street lights, stormwater, and stormwater pipes.  CDL required but on-the-job training will also bring you up to speed in the skills needed to be a great addition to our team. 

Operator III Streets/Stormwater

Full time in the Streets & Stormwater Division of Public Works as the overnight operator of the street sweeper from about April to October, then working in the days during the winter.  CDL required and on-the-job training will make you an excellent fit for our team.  This job is perfect for someone who wants to be home at breakfast and supper and works while everyone else sleeps. This position comes with an extra 25-cents per hour when working overnight.

Operator III Steets/Stomrwater

Part-time Seasonal Laborers

Seasonal work with the City of Lock Haven is starting soon with our public works departments helping with groundskeeping and maintenance projects throughout the summer.  At $15.00 an hour, you can work up to 40 hours a week for 8 weeks in a row, or a total of 320 hours that can accommodate college students looking for a flexible summer schedule or those looking for a little extra work and cash this spring to fall.

Part-time Summer Lifeguards starting at $13.13/hr.

Lifeguards must have current certification and staff and maintain the city beach facility in June, July and August.
